Dentist

A Dentist is needed in West Plains, Missouri.
West Plains is a welcoming community in the heart of the Ozarks, known for its small-town pride, excellent schools, and affordable property values. This position is with a mission-driven community health center providing high-demand dental care to children and families across multiple rural counties.

Salary and Benefits

• $140,000+ base salary for new graduates (higher for experienced dentists)
• Eligible for federal student loan repayment programs – High HPSA score

• No weekends, no after-hours work

• 4-day or 5-day workweek options available

Responsibilities

• Full-time, outpatient role with the option to work 4 or 5 days/week
• Provide comprehensive dental care to children from birth to age 17
• Well-established referral network to pediatric dental specialists
• Not currently accepting new adult patients; may provide care to established adult patients
• Average of 16 patients per day – bread-and-butter dentistry
• Possible weekly rotation to satellite clinic in Thayer, MO
• Services include, but are not limited to: exams, fillings, extractions, crowns, some root canals (no implants)
• Collaborate with 3 full-time dentists and a team of hygienists
• No call responsibilities
• EMR system used for documentation

Requirements

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental program
• Active or eligible dental license in the state of Missouri
• New graduates welcome to apply
• Strong interest in serving rural and underserved populations
• Team-oriented, compassionate, and community-driven
