This position is for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join a growing aerospace team with an engineering client. As an important member of the Manufacturing team, you will actively be providing critical value to customers by maintaining and optimizing manufacturing documentation to support the introduction of new part numbers and supplier qualifications.
This role will work with the engineering client's internal teams and major aerospace customers to assist in identifying and delivering continuous improvement projects, with the goal of increasing both yield and efficient transition of produced hardware to qualified suppliers. The successful candidate will have experience ensuring that all manufacturing processes are well-documented, compliant with industry and customer requirements, and aligned with company standards. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with design engineering, quality, supply chain, and suppliers to establish robust production processes for new and existing components.
